WHAT WE THINK IS IMPORTANT:
The Presence of God (Romans 11:1-2)
We believe that experiencing the presence of God as an individual and as a community is the foundation of Christian living.
Experiencing the Presence of God happens through activities like prayer, study of Scripture, worship, and going to church, to name a few. God's presence can also be experienced through the normal activities of life: playing with your children, going on a walk or even working. Both formal and informal ways of experiencing God are essential for Christian living.
Relationships (1 John 3:11)
We believe that healthy relationships with one another are a sign of a healthy relationship with God.
We believe that through healthy mentoring relationships we can learn and grow from each other's past and present experiences.
We believe that relationships are a gift from God, and as we experience life together, we experience God together.
Spiritual Maturity (1 Peter 2:2)
We believe that by providing an atmosphere that is supportive, caring and stimulating, spiritual growth will be inspired.
We believe that through the study of Scripture and prayer, as individuals and as a community, we will grow in our walk with Christ.
We believe that through mentoring relationships we can inspire, encourage and support each other as we mature spiritually.
Helping Others (Acts 8:26)
We believe that the best way to spread the exciting news about Jesus is through our relationships with others.
We believe in supporting/starting mission works in our local community and throughout the world.
We believe in church planting and that church planting is the most effective way in reaching and changing our communities for Christ.
We believe in being an active part in our community and serving that community whenever we get the chance.
Excellence (Genesis 1:31)
We believe that who we are and what we do represent God and His Kingdom. Therefore, we feel that everything we do as individuals and as a community should be done to the best of our abilities.
Risk (Hebrews 11:6)
We Believe that God has called us to take radical steps of faith in obeying His Word for our church and our lives. We value adventure over safety. We would rather fail trying than to fail because we never tried.
